[PRIMARY] key word always required '[' '] ' bracket

Hi all,

I just need small information about [PRIMARY] keyword . What is the main reason to write [PRIMARY] in bracket . Even for other objects  its optional to keep in square bracket, but its mindatry for PRIMARY keyword .
