SQL Developer ( C#, PHP, ASP.NET )

Hello,

I have started working with SQL Server 2012 few months ago. Read Itzik Ben-Gan "Microsoft SQL server T-SQL FUNDAMENTALS" I liked the book. I was learning slowly but I still was. Thing is to get the job as SQL developer job adverts usually asks to know ASP.NET, C#, .NET, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS ....

Basically I decided to start learning ASP.NET, C# and .NET itself just to increase my chances. So my question would be is it a good idea for Beginner SQL developer to jump in to it ? Or should I concentrate just on T-SQL and BI ?  I am a person who learns why faster then I have to solve problems. So any advice on this ?
